The announcement states that Perlman\u2019s appointment goes hand-in-hand with Gemini\u2019s policy to \u201cask permission, not forgiveness.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe chose this path because Compliance is one of Gemini\u2019s four pillars along with Product, Licensing, and Security,\u201d according to the announcement. \u201cWe are excited for Noah to continue to build on Gemini\u2019s tradition of compliance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Winklevoss\u2019 operation at Gemini has long emphasized compliance.
