  • Memes from the Robinhood Chain are declining, with Artificial Inu down 10.4% and Cash Cat down 12.3%. However, activity has not stopped. According to DexScreener, the chain's 24-hour volume is roughly $1.71 billion.
  • More stock tokens are being locked by stock memes created via Long than in early September. MEME holds more than 35% of AMC.
  • The 24-hour gainers are led by MOIN's 3,929% increase, while the losers are led by GreenHood's 59.1% decline.

Meme coins are traded with serious caution. Small tokens ranked around 900 once again have the largest percentage gains, while CoinGecko's Fear and Greed Index places the market in the fear zone at 44.

The Robinhood Chain, which debuted on July, 1 and swiftly developed into a testing ground for memecoins combined with tokenized stocks, is the more intriguing story. The quantity of stock tokens locked inside meme pools is still increasing even though prices there are declining.

CoinGecko lists the following meme and community tokens among the leading 24-hour gainers:

  • MOIN (meme + coin = MOIN): up roughly 3,929%, with $85.6 million in volume.
  • DogBull (DOGO): up 145.8% on $271,000 in volume.
  • Bundle Cat (BUN, Robinhood Chain): up 87.1% on $5.4 million in volume.
  • NEET (Solana): up 27.4% on $2.8 million in volume.
  • Mushroom (SHROOM, Robinhood Chain): up 25.6%, with $2.0 million in volume.

MOIN's volume surpasses even Mubarak's, making it the highest-volume token on the list. Few traders could have benefited from DogBull's 145.8% gain on just $271,000 in volume.

The Robinhood Chain pullback is not consistent across the board, as demonstrated by Bundle Cat and Mushroom, both of which posted significant gains while more established names declined.

Memecoins to Watch

Instead of using ETH or a stablecoin as the trading pair for a new memecoin, Long, a launchpad for the Robinhood Chain, allows the creator to select a Robinhood stock token.

A meme's lockup increases with its trading activity because buyers pay with that stock token, which remains locked in the pool. Long's data shows that its stock memes are locking more stock tokens than they did in early September, and the leaders continue to add to their positions. Three projects stand out.

MEME

MEME, or A Meme Coin, leads by lockup ratio. It has the largest stake in Long's current lineup, holding more than 35% of the AMC stock tokens.

With every MEME purchase, more tokenized AMC is added to the pool, capitalizing on AMC's reputation as a meme stock. For holders, the appeal comes from the growing quantity of AMC tokens being locked away.

At the same time, that mechanism can create risks for anyone seeking exposure to AMC, given that an increasing portion of the tokenized supply is taken out of active circulation.

Artificial Inu

AI, or Artificial Inu, is the flagship Long launch and the biggest of the three by market capitalization, at about $200 million.

It locks more than $2.6 million in NVDA. Its lockup ratio, along with MOO/MU, LOCKHEEDINU/LMT, MONITOR/PLTR, and CPU/INTC, sits in the 10–20% range.

AI dropped 10.4% to $0.2071 on $13.9 million in volume as larger tokens came under pressure. Importantly, AI holders have no claim on Nvidia shares simply because NVDA tokens are held in the project's liquidity pool.

Largest Meme Coin Losers

The biggest 24-hour declines include:

  • GreenHood (HOOD): down 59.1%, with $346,000 in volume.
  • The Black Bull (ANSEM): down 13.8% on $4.6 million in volume.
  • Cash Cat (CASHCAT): down 12.3% on $35.6 million in volume.
  • Artificial Inu (AI): down 10.4% on $13.9 million in volume.
  • Dog (Bitcoin) (DOG): down 9.3% on $1.9 million in volume.
  • Useless Coin (USELESS): down 8.9% on $35.8 million in volume.

GreenHood's 59.1% decline occurred on only $346,000 in volume, another example of the risks of thin markets where exits can become difficult.

Cash Cat and AI are more revealing. Both are recognizable Robinhood Chain names with daily volumes in the eight figures, yet both suffered double-digit declines. USELESS also lost 8.9% despite generating $35.8 million in volume.

What Comes Next?

The current pullback is testing the stock-lock model.

Locked tokens are not equivalent to ownership of the underlying shares. At present, there is no evidence that the stocks themselves are significantly affected by the issuance or locking of Robinhood stock tokens. These tokens are issued by authorized and licensed parties and provide economic exposure rather than direct ownership.

What the locks do change is the on-chain supply. Because of this, price gaps have emerged when U.S. markets are closed and no new tokens can be created. During one such squeeze, DeFiPrime found that the HIMS token traded as much as 112% above the stock's previous NYSE closing price.

The next thing to watch is whether lockup ratios continue to rise if meme prices keep declining, and whether MEME, BONER, and AI can retain their stock-token pools once trading activity cools.
